Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022

It’s that time of year again! It’s always so odd to shop for fall and winter items in July, but now is the time to snag these splurge worthy pieces while they are in stock and on sale! I know I typically share affordable fashion/style from brands like Amazon, Target, Walmart, Old Navy, etc. But, I will say that I believe in investing in certain pieces for your wardrobe that you know you will get a lot of wear out of. There is something to say about ‘quality > quantity’ when it comes to certain items like shoes/boots, handbags, outerwear, etc. I have my lists below of my top picks from the sale this year. I highly recommend taking a look at the shoes and boots. That is always the first category I look at when the preview is live. I love seeing all the new styles and trends of boots and booties for the fall season. Seems that the western style boot is going to be on trend for the up coming fall season. I also have my eye on a new pair of running shoes, a good winter coat and possibly a good pair of denim.

Now is also a great time to snag some gifts for the upcoming ‘gifting season’. It may seem crazy to shop for holiday gifts in July, but there are some really great gifting items that will be on sale that typically do not ever go on sale.

Below are my top picks from the sale also broken out into categories. If you are a Nordstrom cardholder, you will have access to shop the sale earlier than those that do not have a Nordstrom card. The first day you are able to shop the sale depends on your cardholder status. I have listed the timeline for shopping dates below. Below are my top 10 picks for splurge worthy items from the sale.

Vince Camuto Oyennda Tall boot – This is such a classic style of a tall boot that can be worn with skinny jeans, leggings or dresses. I love the pointed toe and the ‘tortilla’ color goes with just about anything.
Spanx faux leather leggings – These are a part of the sale just about every year. I have had mine for over 3 years and I always pull them out every fall and winter. There are some lookalike options from more affordable retailers (Amazon, aerie, etc), but I will say nothing really compares to the quality and fit of my Spanx pair. Make sure to size UP in these (I wear the medium and I’m typically a size 6 in jeans) and if you are under 5’4″, get the petite length.
Sam Edelman Agnes Western boot – I love this taller, western style bootie for fall! These would look great with skinny jeans, leggings or dresses and skirts.
ON Cloudswift Running shoes – I am in the market for a new pair of running/workout shoes and this pair is on the top of my list. This brand has so many great reviews and I am loving the ‘blush/denim’ color!
Wacoal Red Carpet strapless bra – This is the only strapless bra I will wear! I have several and it is the only one I’ve tried that stays in place! It is a little pricey for a bra, but trust me it is worth it! And it hardly ever goes on sale, so now is a great time to purchase.
Wit & Wisdom Ab-Solution High Waist Itty Bitty boot cut jeans – These dark wash boot cut jeans are on my wishlist! They are a classic style to have in your wardrobe for fall.
Caslon Leather Moto Jacket with Removable Hood – Love this classic style black leather moto jacket and love that it comes with a removable hood! The hood makes it more versatile so it is easy to dress it up or down. Definitely another staple to have in your closet for fall.
Kurt Geiger Shoreditch Small Croc Embossed Leather crossbody – Love this color and style for fall. I have been on a KG handbag kick and I’m loving all the styles that are included in the sale! I picked this one bc it is the perfect color for fall and a great size for nights out.
Free People Leo Henley Tee – This is a classic oversized waffle knit tunic that is perfectly paired with your Spanx faux leather leggings (or any other leggings). Comes in multiple color options, but I love the crisp white with black leggings, that way you can layer with a solid colored jacket or cozy scarf.
The North Face Miss Metro II Hooded Water Resistant Down Parka – If you live in the northwest or really anywhere that may have harsh winters, it is always smart to invest in a good winter coat. I am in need of a new one and I have this water resistant parka on my list!
