This was the most requested post when I polled my audience in stories a few weeks ago! I’ve been sharing a lot of outfit inspo wearing my favorite leggings in my instagram feed, but wanted to have a landing page you all could reference with all the outfits rounded up! I have provided the direct links to items and sizing info with each outfit. Leggings season is my favorite! I have some tried and true pairs that I love that I am sharing in this post. Fall is the perfect time to pull out your favorite leggings and layer with a tunic top, denim jacket or lightweight jacket and booties or sneakers. Below are some of my favorite go-to outfits for fall.
Leggings Outfit Ideas
- Peplum Tops
The best ‘dressy’ pair of leggings are these faux leather leggings from Amazon. I also have the Spanx version, but I tend to grab for this pair more to be honest! One difference is the sizing. Make sure to size UP in the Spanx version (I wear a medium petite in these). The Amazon pair actually run a bit big. I have a size small and they are a few inches too long on me (I’m 5’3″ for reference). One trick I use is simply tucking under the extra fabric at the bottom. I could get them professionally hemmed too, just haven’t taken that step yet.
One of my favorite tops to pair with my faux leather leggings are babydoll or waffle knit tunic tops. I have a few from Amazon that I love (shown above). I typically size up in these tops to make sure they are oversized. However, I have a small in this waffle knit top and it is long enough for me to wear with leggings. I wear a medium in this top and love that it is longer in the back. I love wearing these pointed toe flats with my leggings in the fall as a dressier option than sneakers. I also love wearing booties and tall boots with them as well.

For a more athlesuire look, my favorite everyday leggings are from aerie. I have this high waisted pair that is so comfy! I also love this pair that is similar, but also has pockets in the front. Both pairs run true to size. I recently ordered this pair of high waisted leggings from Amazon that feel very similar to the aerie ones as well.
